Quentas billing system

Quentas telecom billing’s core functions are its rating activities, its management of financial data and its delivery of convergent, easy-to-read invoices. Additionally, various customer data management functions have been included to provide a comprehensive module.

Mediation

The System starts by gathering usage data that comes from the network. Data can be acquired by Quentas mediation which transforms the data into a unified format and verifies its validity. When loaded into the database, the usage data is immediately processed by the rule-based rating engine – DPS (Data Processing Server). The rated records and information about services, discounts, and rating plans form the basis of the generation of invoices in subsequent processes.

The final step

The final stage is the preparation of invoice's, printouts, electronic bill presentment or pdf.

Export data

One of the system’s indispensable elements is its capability to export data to financial and accounting systems. The data is exported in a user-defined layout and contains information relating to accounts in the General Ledger.
